Gaëtan Garcia Pixel Cranes have clearly grown since their eponymous debut album. This new album feels more mature and varied than its predecessor and this spells good news for the promising Hungarian band. Iridescence manages to remain accessible without compromising its progressive rock influences. Solid. Favorite track: The Void.

Darker Love 04:55
Does the heat of the water warm you enough? Do your weekdays cover me enough? Three tablespoons of sugar gone astray Don’t make me stay, don’t go away. Coffee spots, or the milky way? They shape your shapes and eyelids all the same Three fingersteps to finally end this hay, Don’t make me go, stay away don’t come any closer Here I’m left to wait for my thoughts to fade from my brain (For the bugs to hatch from my brain) For you to read my lines And leave me here to wait I’m afraid it’ll end with no beginning So i’ve never owned but still lost the thing Three tablespoons of memories shape the day Don’t go away, Don’t make me stay Here I’ve felt I must, fall asleep. Wrap up, my eyes, to hide I wait inside And both lifes pass me by Here I’m left to wait For you to read my lines And leave me here to wait

The Void 03:36
Eyes are open wide Organs paralyzed Beautiful as fragile rimes I can’t say a thing Mouth anesthetized I am afraid of fear and tones Tie me to insect wings, Take me. Swallows chase us, Make me, worth for being part A white, cold venepuncture, For cranes to, being captured Unseen bunkers decline flights Just a white, warm venepuncture, For cranes, they have been captured Unseen bunkers decline flights

Take this crumb You call life Away from here, Away from here I’ve had my share Of your lies Crawl through the rocks Of your mistakes Dance this waltz Dance of your lies Without me, Without me Waltz for one Waltz for one Full of lies Pitch-black cries

Death is just another nothing In the crowd of eyes This goes on Without me Please pay some attention Swim across the ocean Bicycles tied to your neck Bicycles tied to your back I want to hear you’re sorry See it in our eyes This stays here Without you Please pay some attention Swim across the ocean Bicycles tied to your back Bicycles tied to your neck

Synesthesia 03:36
Ocean waves rolling And stars keep on falling The storm is coming From the waves of stories Sun rays' blinding Endless lightning They keep on shining On forgotten dreams Woke up half past two And i'm still tired (of) screeching sirens Anchor hearing damage Gaslamp cleared up all The shattered image of Never returning shores Dancing kidneys’ cores Outlooks collide giving Birth to Broken Jesus Fibers of ropes falling Onto dark compassion Burning lucid dreamers Run from inner demons Hazy consequences Grey hallucinations Dreamscape floating Allergies returning My mind is racing Catching up to you Glorious hosts Sightseeing ghosts X-ray lighthouse Abandon shores

Turn on my mind Flicking through Channels of Memories It is cold Maybe December I was waiting in the Station for you Next up autumn, Windy rain showers, Sitting alone In the house on the couch Some things never change I thought I had something That only I posessed Now I know It was nothing As the channels Turn to grey. Some things never change Now I look, Up on my ceiling Lazy cracks Crawl down the walls Now I feel As empty and shallow As the paint that was chipped off by the times As the paint that was chipped off by the times

Cup me in your hands Because I’m fragile as clay Shelter me From The wind Or else I’ll fly away Away with the first First morning breeze Away with the first First morning breeze Out through the keyhole You forgot to lock yesterday Out through the keyhole You forgot to lock yesterday Five a.m. dawn is near But I’ll be nowhere near Don’t even shed a tear I can ease your fear
9.
Never say my name, Never know the aim of Decisions and Loves we choose to make Loves we choose to take Under and above Always see your face Always see you Never receive my soul Never show the deep The deepest hearts and Their stories to be told

Riverside 05:26
Footprints of your feet so bare like hidden leaves Of branches round my guilt I numb the breeze. I comb the fibres just to make them shape your smile Cracks like teeth bring back golden times The smell of autumn showers In a summer lake Submerge the long expected Things I couldn't make I cut my self a half of Dawnlight from your soul I swallow regrets and I Turn my way back home I woke up in the night I stood in the dark room Silence grabbed my shoulder Warnings of my mother I strolled in the kitchen But lights refused to work Fall over your footprints Ignorance of cold limbs There's no time to end as friends There's no time my dream amends There's no time there never was (but) There is time to wake me up
